I do love an fun kids room. One which sparks their imagination and where they can play and make believe to their hearts content. Obviously somewhere for sleep too! That is always good.

Today the lovely Hayley Stuart is letting us have a snoop around her boy’s bedrooms. If you’ve followed Hayley on Instagram you will know she is the master of interiors schemes. The rooms are filled with fun and so many gorgeous touches. What’s more impressive is that Hayley’s house is rented so it goes to show how much you can transform any space, regardless of where you live.

Both bedrooms would be loved by any child with their wall decors, fun hideaways and lots of homemade touches. I am very tempted to commission Hayley’s mum to knock up a few Tipi’s for me!

My youngest son Mack has a woodland bedroom. He is three, so wanted a room that is fun but not too babyish. My mum made him a tipi using a duvet cover which matches the one on his bed. We collected feathers and pipe cones together to make garlands and a dream catcher too.

Rex’s bedroom is my most recent makeover. He chose his own wallpaper which is removable self adhesive. He picked arrows so instantly I thought we could bring in a hint of cowboys and Indians in to the room. My parents made a tent for his bed to add some adventure and I made a wagon for his books to be stored in.

Hope you have enjoyed the rooms and have been inspired to create your own make believe hideaways.
