Bonfire night was fast approaching so I bought these wellies for the boys but they haven’t worn them yet… It just hasn’t been that… wet?! But we all know it’s coming and last week we saw a fluttering of snow so I’m hopefully that they’ll at least get to wear them a few times over the next month. What will your littles be wearing in these colder wetter months? If you’ve not really thought about it yet I’ve rounded up all my favourite winter boots to make it super easy for you.

For Teeny Tiny Feet

Sometimes socks just don’t cut it and you want your teeny babe to be as warm as they can be and who are we kidding… babies in booties are the best. Lets start with these beyond adorable Sheepskin high tops from Amy & Ivor. You might look at the price tag and be thinking I’m a bit crazy but these babes are only tiny once and they deserve the best! And these really are, an heirloom piece you can keep or pass on to another precious babe once yours has outgrown them.

If you love hand knitted stuff but don’t know anyone who can do it you can grab these adorable knitted booties from gap for a steal at under a tenner!

Imagine these little bears poking out underneath a blanket. Zara seems to be bang on with their choice of kiddies footwear so this is the first of a few to come.

And then theres these little grey and purple pram boots of dreams from Ted Baker. And another sale item!

For The Love Of Leather

Aside from a wellie, leather has to be the most waterproof right? What I’ve really enjoyed about this search is how gender neutral the majority of these boots are. These lovely tan Chelsea style boots from Startrite fall under their boys section but Charlotte has bought them for Mabel for the last two years.

Another fave in the Chelsea boot section are these wool lined numbers from Angulus at Mama Owl. I have heart eyes for a lot of Angulus boots, kids and adults alike.

If tan or brown aren’t your thing then how about these grey ankle boots from Clarkes. A favourite of Lottie’s for her girls.

Hands up if you love a Liberty print? These boots from Young Soles have a stunning Liberty lace. Such a clever way of brightening up your boots. There’s literally nothing not to love about them; that cushiony ankle, the sturdy sole. I am sold. Not sure Leo will be up for Liberty laces though.

Two more for the leather section. These cooler than cool green Bobux Outback Boots are so colourful and fun whilst also seeming extremely practical. They have a super bendy soul so perfect for running around and having a great time. And then finally there are these Amra Metallic Silver Ankle Boots by Noel. With a leather upper and inner they’re going to be warm and waterproof.

The High Top

We’ve purchased a pair of wellies and a pair of high tops for Leo this winter. He loves to ride his bike… rain or shine and I wasn’t sure wellies made great bike riding shoes so these Bobux high tops seem the perfect in between; good sole, leather and warm. Next also have these warm lined high tops that are similar and we’ve found them to be great (and with half the price tag if you’re having to shell out for multiple pairs).

If you want some more ‘dressy’ boots for winter occassions, these mid rise sneakers are lovely from Gap and come in two colours AND they’re currently still in good stock in the sale.

Can we talk about these epic high tops from Converse. I am a big fan of converse; Tayo is wearing his hand me downs from Leo at nursery as we speak. What could be more wintery and festive than these silver leather kicks? I know they’re not technically a boot but you know… Love.

Shimmer & Shine

Fan of patent? Who isn’t? The second of our lot from Zara is these navy lined patent boots.

If you’re not so keen on the patent what about high shine leather… Who knew that was a thing! But it looks great on these Bobux Shimmer Gloss boots. I especially love the wine colour.

Now for a bit of both. How about leather with a stretch panel thats all glittery? It’s back to Zara for these beauties. They’re easy to slip on because of the stretchy sides but they also have a zip just to make sure.

You’re going to start thinking this post is sponsored by Zara! It’s not I promise, they’re just SO good at the minute. Gold, check. Lightning bolt, check. I don’t know if these lightning bolt boots will be the warmest but the cutest? Absolutely.

Remember the cute bears from the teeny tiny section… welcome their big cousin! Love these slightly higher water repellent suede boots from M&S.

Wellies & Calf Length Boots

It wouldn’t be a full roundup without a wellie or two would it. We start with these gender neutral wool lined wellies from Bisgaard. The sole is removable so you can give them a wash too! The colour, the toggle… Love.

For the little lady in your life these H&M low rise wellies are adorable.

Hello gorgeous grey calf length beauties! The detail on these is really playful and fun and your littles will love putting them on. I always find the joy of Clarks is that super narrow fit that they offer. Leo has the skinniest feet so I find they really fit his feet well.

I always think Geox look like such sturdy boots. Made from leather with a warm lining these mid calf boots have really cute details on the suede section… Sometimes less is more.

And last but no means least are these Boden beauties. They come in an array of colour choices but I particularly love the pink. I’m finding Boden to be similar to Zara in the ‘having-every-boot-you-could-ever-need-or-want stakes’ so have a good mooch around the site as there’s still a fair few bargains to be had too!
