It’s a funny old month November, isn’t it?! We’ve had an interesting start to Autumn this year with a crazy October and a poorly Elle. So I’m hoping that as November progresses things start to settle down a little. Here’s five things we’ll be doing this month…

– Attending a second birthday party. The first of my NCT friends babies is turning two! AHHHHH how scary. And what’s even more scary is that HALF of my NCT friends are now pregnant again. Who will crack next?!? 😉
– Visiting the Lost Gardens of Heligan. We’re planning a couple of quiet days on the South Coast of Cornwall and Heligan is one of our absolute favourite places.
– Birthday party planning for my Mother-in-Law who turns 60 at the beginning of December. I’ve sent gorgeous invitations from RMW’s Love Lust List stationery suppliers Papier. I need to chase menu choices and decide on how we’re going to make the barn at The Fleece Inn look even more beautiful. I’m thinking all white and lots of foliage. Oh and I need to bake a cake. I’ll be asking Lottie for help with that one I think…
– Once October half-term is out of the way, the beaches are empty in Cornwall and there’s something truly magical about the beach in Winter, so we’ll be squeezing in as many dog walks as we can. (NB – it’s a great time to visit)!
– And finally, as so wonderfully put by @maebryandmaude the winner of this weeks RMS Tuesday Treats competition, seeing as November is the stop-gap month before Christmas, I’ll be getting into the festive sprit early. I’ve been a scrooge for the last two years but this year I’ve well and truly got my Christmas Mojo back. And I’m really REALLY EXCITED.

Have a lovely weekend everyone 🙂
